Don’t forget — Adult Bingo is happening NEXT WEDNESDAY 3rd June and it’s our LAST adult social of the school year… so let’s make it a good one! 🍷🍫🍕

Grab your friends, family, neighbours (and anyone who fancies a fun night out!) and join us for an evening full of laughs, prizes and grown-up time away from the bedtime routine 😄

To help us put on the best Summer Fair yet for all our wonderful children at Aylward, we’re kindly asking for your support once again.

If you’re having a sort out over half term and come across any unwanted teddies, bottles, chocolate bars, sweets, snacks, or small prizes, please consider donating them to our Summer Fair. We simply ask that all donations are clean, usable, unopened, and in date.

Please note: we do not need bottles of water, crisps, or KitKats.

Your generosity and support so far has been absolutely amazing, and we are so grateful. We’re just asking for one final push with donations to help us create a truly fantastic fair for all the children to enjoy.

We’re excited to announce Race for Reading Fun Run on Friday 5th June 2026! 🎉📚🏃

Children will race to see how many laps of the playground they can complete in 10 minutes during the school day. Don’t forget to ask your child how many laps they achieved!

Year 6 will complete their run on Wednesday 10th June 2026 due to residential week.

Please return sponsorship forms and any cash donations in a sealed envelope with your child’s name and class on the morning of the event.

The class that raises the most money will win a fantastic fun-filled afternoon! All funds raised will help buy more Read, Write Inc. books to support children’s reading journeys.

🎉💚 GREEN HOUSE WINS! 💚🎉

This half term, pupils at Aylward have been earning house tokens for fantastic work and behaviour — and GREEN House came out on top! 🏆

To celebrate, all children in GREEN House can enjoy an Own Clothes (M***i) Day on Thursday 21st May 👕✨

Children may wear clothes of their choice (it doesn’t need to be green!), but please make sure outfits are suitable for school and the weather.

🌈 Rainbow Raffle M***i Day – Tomorrow! 🌈

We’re excited for our Rainbow Raffle M***i Day tomorrow, Wednesday 20th May! Children are invited to come to school in their own clothes and bring along a non-perishable item in their year group’s colour for our Summer Fair raffle hampers. 🎁
