Today is Menstrual Awareness and Hygiene Day.💙

Period Poverty = The “inability to afford or access menstrual products, sanitation, or hygiene services”.

Period poverty and stigma are unfortunately still huge issues affecting over a billion people who menstruate, who lack access to period products and basic sanitation.

Supporting people who menstruate can reduce their stress/ anxiety and reduce the risk of serious infections such as Toxic Shock Syndrome.
