UHB Pathology is offering a 3-day work experience programme at Heartlands Hospital for students in Years 11-13 this October.

With places for up to 20 students, the programme is a great opportunity to explore the wide range of careers available in Pathology and Healthcare Science and gain an insight into the vital work that happens behind the scenes of patient care. Students will see our laboratories in action, learn how tests help to diagnose and treat patients and meet our biomedical scientists and clinicians.

I don’t usually share work experience opportunities as there are so many out there, but I know just how sought-after Formula 1 opportunities are, so I wanted to highlight this one. 🏎️

Silverstone offers 3 work experience blocks each year, and the next one is taking place from 26-30 October.

It is open to students who are:

📌Aged 14-18
📌In full-time education at a UK school or college
📌Able to travel to and from Silverstone and attend all five days of the programme

Applicants should be interested in careers in areas including events, business, marketing, sustainability, operations and motorsport.
