What better way to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Sir David Attenborough than with the wonderful children & staff at St Peter's CE Academy, Alton 🌎 🎂

“Thank you for such an inspiring, engaging and truly memorable day of learning. The children were completely engaged throughout and gained so much from the experience. Your passion and knowledge really brought the learning to life, sparking so much curiosity and excitement amongst the children. It was a truly special day for everyone, made even more meaningful with it being David Attenborough’s birthday.”

This week I had the pleasure of meeting one of my wildlife heroes - Michaela Strachan. Across many shows such as ‘The Really Wild Show’, ‘Countryfile’ and ‘Springwatch’, Michaela has certainly played a big part in inspiring & educating me on all things ‘wildlife’! She can certainly take some credit for the creation of Hoglets!

Back in 2019, Michaela helped to promote our ‘Walk for Wildlife’ which saw us walking from Coast to Coast, raising over £3000 for The British Wildlife Rescue Centre. It was great to finally catch up with her and thank her in person for the support that she gave us!

Introducing Brian!🦉

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our pack - Brian the long-eared owl!

Long-eared owls are one of our 5 native owl species so Brian will certainly play his part, helping us to inspire the next generation of British wildlife lovers!

His first Hoglets workshop today took him to Westwood Pre-school & Kids Club where he joined in with our Colours & Camouflage workshop 🌈 He instantly won over the hearts of the children - and staff! 🤎

We are delighted to be able to rehome Brian and offer him his forever home with The British Wildlife Rescue Centre

He’s looking forward to meeting you all soon! 🦉
