These are available for collection Wednesdays 2pm - 4pm and Fridays 11am - 1pm until the end of term (not including the last day of term as this will be a half day). We will be picking this back up in September upon re-opening

We also have a number of long-life food available for collection with a fresh delivery that arrived yesterday. We have items such as oats, tinned/jarred goods, snacks, coffee and plenty more so come along to collect anything your household needs

Today we have said goodbye to a number of students and staff as they are heading off to France for a long weekend!

With a very early meet up of 4:15am, they are expected to arrive in Calais this afternoon. Where they will spend the next few days taking part in some fun-filled activities!

Such as visiting memorials, the beach and even a day at the theme park 🎢

We look forward to hearing all about their time away upon their return

We are really pleased to announce that we will be holding a book fair next week (15/04 – 17/04) in the Library every lunch time 📚

There is a fantastic range of new titles to choose from as well as some classics. Scan the QR code below to browse the books we have available. Books range from £2.99 - £9.99 and there are a number of different ways to pay

What’s even better is that by buying your books at our book fair, the school library is able to earn free books for our library – it’s a win-win! We will be holding lots of competitions throughout the week for your chance to win books, stationary and vouchers to spend at the book fair 🖋️🔖📔

Before Easter, Mrs McCracken took 14 IT students to Stafford College for a taster day in ESports 🎮

The students found out information about the course and took part in several sessions, including the psychology of ESports and shoutcasting

They also took part in a nail biting Rocket League tournament against another school, with SMHS being the overall winners 😁🏆

A message from Mrs McCracken - The students had a fabulous day and it was a pleasure to share the day with them. It was also fantastic to see some ex students and find out how they were getting on

If you could please remind your children to be ready and on the playground in full uniform no later than 8:45am ⏰

We would also suggest that students bring their own water bottles in to school every day as we are getting closer to summer, these can be refilled in the canteen

Chloe has such a caring nature in school and is always the first to offer her assistance, it's great to see that this goes beyond the gates! Well done Chloe 👏

I think most of you have met Chloe. She is our, new to the classes, helper.
Chloe has been involved with the classes and the events since the age of three years old. She has a wonderful natural ability with the dogs and is really good at knowing which handlers are struggling and need a bit of extra help. Chloe is a teenager herself so is very good at helping the young handlers of the class.
Welcome to the amazing team that makes Pads dog training what it is Chloe❤️
Karen and Carron due to other commitments have had to move from the classes to doing things in the background. Karen keeps our important website up to date and Carron is always there for behind the scenes advice when I need it❤️
In fact everyone who is involved with the smooth running of Pads, even if it’s just sharing our posts, is so valuable to us all. Thank you 🐾🐾
