One for the thinkersš
Hot & Cold thought processāļøš„
Process I learnt from rugby where you would analyse your performance as soon as youāve finished the match. Then, 24-48 hours after the game, you review your hot review and see if you think the same as what you did
The reasoning for this is to see whether your decision making when youāre in āfight or flightā is the same to when youāre chilled.
Iāve taken this into most things I do in life!
What are my initial thoughts in the momentā¦

Iām 1 week post show, hereās my cold review!
Everything I felt after coming off stage was everything I needed. In the moment, I had closure, clarity and new direction. Now, sitting here 1 week later, I feel even more of these feelings. I know how I thought was right.
This has made my post show phase a lot easier as I have a purpose, goals, direction & a shift in everything.
aasmaa was someone that saw this a lot in my prep. He saw the mindset, the process of what I went through from a psychological perspective & it was all massively positive.

13 weeks working with ā”ļø
The best Niamh yetā¦
But, the best part about thisā¦Niamh is the exact same weight in both! This time round fuller and adding development to areas we want to bring up.
We initially entered a diet phase with a Low / High day set up which worked perfectly to manage and maintain performance while seeing scale weight shift down.
Now, weāre firmly into our improvement phase with a long runway ahead of us.

Thatās a wrap on this tidy up phase for
7 weeks, done & dustedš§¹
4 weeks of this done through Ramadan which was navigated perfectly through correct nutritional set up to maximise training performance, preserving tissue weāve built & progress.
All done throughout a health phase & now, weāve put ourselves into a position where our runway of progression is endless.
Abu is an absolute workhorse. Embodies everything I want within an athlete and it shows. Team.

Walking the walkā¦
Something to me that I think is important as a coach!
Being able to resonate with your athletes with how they feel, what theyāre going to experience & the challenges they will face is what makes you a better coach.
If you been thereā¦done itā¦walked the walkā¦
Itāll make you a better coach.
Condition speaks volumes and what it takes to get there is another challenge within itself.
This was 180 days work.
1st October 2024 - 30th March 2025.
One complete U-Turn.
I can happily say I did what I wanted & thatās being able to say to my athletes, Iāve been where you are.
This made me a better person & ultimately a better coach.

The 2025 prepš¤š»
Iāve been thinking about how to start this & how to write this for a few days.
My why behind this prep was more than just the love for bodybuilding that I have. It was for me.
To make myself proud.
To prove to myself that I can lead from the front.
To showcase I have make improvements.
To not drop my standard as a coach.
Ultimately, with a smile on my face.
I canāt lie, this was hard. But, anything you want to achieve should be hard. I embraced every second of it & Iāll look on this time in my life as a time of massive success and progress in every aspect of life.
For me now, whatās the plan?
This prep has given me closure that coaching is my calling. I love bodybuilding. I came off stage on Sunday, to my first athlete being on stage taking the win and I was more excited for them, than I was for me just going on stage. That explained everything to me in that moment.
Moving forward, my goal is to be one of the best coaches in the industry. Thatās always been the one. But, I want to do that while still being one great athlete leading one great team.
Thatās the person I want to be & thatās what I will be. Acting like the person I want to become.
In life, people sometimes never get the closure they need. Sunday, I got that closure.
I loved being on stage. People were saying to me I looked like I was loving it & thatās because I was. I had my closest friends, family there & my best look ever.
Bodybuilding is about self progression. Iāve shown that and I will continue to do so.
Iāve found my calling. Thatās coaching on the highest level while showcasing I can still be on hell of an athlete leading one hell of a team.

What a day. Reflection is a great thing & reflecting on yesterday, all it brings is happiness.

18 months I competed and yesterday was the day where I wanted to be better & thatās exactly what happened.
In every aspect I was better & thatās what this is all about.
I canāt put into words what Iāve done to achieve what I did yesterday. Itās not about the outcome. Itās about the journey and the improvements it takes to get there.
Present. Grateful. Eveything inbetween.
Thank you to everyone who cheered my name, came to watch, messaged me. It doesnāt go unnoticed. Yesterday was truly a special day.

Gratefulness.
As Iām sat here, 1 day out, feet up, chilling. Iām reflecting on how grateful I am to be here.
Being present about not only the work done, the work we still have to do but about the memories Iām making.
Few highlights here from the Scotland Trip so farā¦
Thoughts that have crossed my mind on the way up here
- Having the best team of athletes where I can work with some incredible people within their physique development journeyās
- .charllouisexx being there every step on the way, carrying shopping and proceeding to shrug the bags. Itās the little things.
- Podcast with my closest pals, 2 days out.
