The Vikings invade once again for one of our most popular events of the year!

Swimming Sessions in Stafford:

Stafford Freedom Leisure Centre: Offers daily Swim for All, Toddler Splash, and Floats & Fun sessions (some days featuring a giant inflatable). Standard swim prices start around £3.55, with inflatable sessions at £5.25.

They also offer SEND Family Swims sessions for a quiet, sensory-friendly family swim available in the teaching and main pools, usually priced around £2.50.

Stafford library are offering a packed programme of activities which include creative workshops, storytelling sessions and hands-on events inspired by music, rhythm and performance as part of this years 'Read to the Beat' themed reading challenge.

Free children meals this Summer in Stafford

Several spots in and around Stafford are again offering completely free or highly discounted children's meals to help stretch your budget during the summer holidays:

The Swan Hotel: offer a deal where kids 12 and under eat free every Sunday with the purchase of a full-paying adult main meal.

Dunelm Sarah's Cafe: run a 6-week summer holiday promotion where one child eats for free with every adult main meal purchased.

Tesco Cafe: National deals allowing kids to eat for free when an adult purchases any item.

Asda Cafe: Throughout the summer, children can eat for just £1. This requires no minimum adult spend and often includes a free piece of fruit.

The Radford Bank Inn offers £1 kids' meals all week with an adult main meal.

Between 25 June and 1 September 2026, through the Government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme, there is a temporary reduction on VAT from 20% to 5% on children's meals in restaurants, children and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts, exhibitions and a wide range of other attractions.

In addition, there will be free bus travel during August for children aged 5 to 15 in England.

Many thanks to the wonderful BMT school family for working together during another challenging and highly rewarding academic year.

We are blessed to be such a supportive school family who always work to achieve the best for our incredible children. Our children, families, school staff, Governors and Directors are amazing individuals who work together as one fantastic BMT team.

The staff and I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, generous gifts and continued support. Your invaluable contribution as Parents throughout the year enables all of us in school to live out our vocation each day. Your children are wonderful and we wish them and you a safe and happy summer holiday.
