This week at Princefield, we have been focusing on being respectful, one of the important values in the Princefield Code.
We have spent time talking with the children about what respect looks like in our school and how the small things we do every day can make a big difference to others. A key idea we have explored is "One Voice". Whether we are in the classroom, on the playground, having a conversation or gathered together in assembly, we understand that there should only be one voice speaking at a time.
Showing respect to the person who is talking can be as simple as:
Looking towards the speaker
Keeping our hands still
Listening quietly and attentively
The children have engaged brilliantly with these discussions and have been reflecting on how their actions can help others feel valued, listened to and respected.
By working together and showing kindness and consideration to one another every day, we continue to build a school community where everyone feels safe, happy and able to thrive. We are incredibly proud of how our children are embracing these values and helping to make Princefield the best it can be.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to nurture a culture of respect throughout our school.
