A very whimsical week with Little Sparks Learning last week!

🦋 Butterfly phonics for my littlest sparks
🦄 Unicorn detective reading retrieval
🌷 Garden drawing and labelling, securing those Phase 3 sounds!
🕵🏼Unicorn report writing using facts from the text
✨ BFG magic potion word classes

🧚🏻‍♀️ Not pictured … Phase 2 blending practice with playdoh, unicorn stable designs to support 2D shapes, real or pseudo work practice for Phase 3 and LOTS of threading pony beads onto pipe cleaners for fine motor skills 🪎

I’ve been fairly terribly at updating recently. So sorry! But what a fabulous week.

Fantastic Year 3/4 SPaG prep for this Little Spark. Getting ahead over the summer and introducing some new vocabulary all in the style of the BFG.

Phonics with the Little Sparks tends to look a lot like this! Themed, creative and active 💡✨

What a superstar! The post-it note game is a firm favourite … I hide them around the room and the learner has to hunt, find and order them into words with their target sound. 🕷️🕸️

My 1:1 sessions are now fully booked and my KS1 Phonics Group is also full! 💡✨

Due to demand, I’m now taking expressions of interest for:

📚 KS2 English Groups
➕ All Maths Groups (Years 1–6)

Small groups are a fantastic way for children to build confidence, strengthen key skills and learn alongside others in a fun, supportive environment.
