It’s been another busy couple of weeks with a visit from Safari Stu to our regular childminder group 🐍🦎🐹 a trip to the zoo 🐅🐫🐒 a fab forest school session 🌲🥰 🌱 another awesome cricket session 🏏 as well as fun at home and at playgroups. One particularly wet and windy afternoon we even had a movie afternoon in the cabin as a special treat 🎥🤩

We have also enjoyed taking care of all our animals 🐈 🐕🦎 at home and saying hello again to our resident tortoises who have now woken up for spring ☀️🐢🥰

Every day is a new adventure and today we took a simple trip to the local garden centre for the morning, enjoying a browse around and a play in the sunshine, building sandcastles and watching several planes as they flew over 🌷🌞🍓✈️

We then we spent the afternoon back at home planting our new strawberries and different herbs for our sensory garden area🪴🥰

Wonderful first day back after the half term! The sun was shining so we had a lovely walk to the local park for some fun...

Wonderful first day back after the half term! The sun was shining so we had a lovely walk to the local park for some fun and fresh air, spotted the first signs of spring 🌼 🌞
Then we enjoyed some stories, a mandatory play in the train and the rhymetime session at the local library 📚🥰

The weeks are flying by and I can’t believe it’s almost the end of January already.
We have had a busy month so far with learning all about winter, the animals that live in the Arctic and Antarctic and a few related crafts and messy play activities.
We have enjoyed our walks to different play groups as get to see different things every day, like swans flying over us and landing on the water, various emergency vehicles rushing by etc.
We have talked about germs and hand washing, especially whilst we are still in cold and flu season.
We have also celebrated two birthdays and attended our first local forest school session which we have loved and look forward to going to again in the future 😊

It’s been another fab week with all of my amazing mindees 🥰 we had a great time at another childminder’s setting for a fun bug activity and play date, a trip to a local soft play and some water play fun in the garden too. All of the mindees particularly enjoyed setting free some sea creatures that were trapped in ice 🧊☀️

It was a lovely start back after a two week break with trips out and about 🤩

The children especially loved our trip to the Raptor Foundation where we were lucky enough to have a huge owl land right next to us 🦉 and get to see all kinds of other birds and a few other small creatures too 🦅🦎🐢 🐍

We also visited the local library to choose some new books, a play cafe and a couple of toddler groups too. It’s been a busy, but wonderful week 🥰
