🐄🌾 Farm Visit Fun! 🌾🐄
Today we enjoyed a lovely trip to the farm, where the children had the opportunity to feed some of the animals and learn more about life on the farm.
As part of our exploration of all things dairy, we spent time looking at the cows and talking about where milk comes from. The children were fascinated to learn that cows produce the milk we drink and enjoyed observing them up close. We discussed how milk travels from the farm to our homes and the different dairy products we can make from it.
The children showed great curiosity, asked lots of wonderful questions, and enjoyed a hands-on learning experience in the fresh air. A fantastic day of learning and exploration! 🥛🐄✨

🥛 This week we're exploring all things Dairy! 🥛
Today we got creative and made our own imaginary ice creams using foam, food colouring, and lots of colourful sprinkles. 🍦✨
Everyone enjoyed mixing colours, decorating their creations, and letting their imaginations run wild. It was a fun, sensory activity that sparked plenty of smiles and creativity!
We can't wait to see what the rest of our dairy-themed week brings. 😊

Starting off our week of ‘Gardening week’ with creating our own flower gardens.

Today we got creative after story time and made our very own colourful owls inspired by our book 🦉📚
The children loved choosing different shapes, colours and textures to create their unique designs, whilst developing their fine motor skills and imagination.

This week we celebrated “People Who Help Us” in our community. The children enjoyed exploring different roles through dressing up as doctors, nurses, vets, police officers, and hairdressers. They worked together to care for and make the poorly animals feel better, showing kindness, teamwork, and imagination throughout their play.
We also talked about other occupations that help us in our everyday lives and discussed how these people support and care for the community. The children were engaged in meaningful conversations and enjoyed sharing their own experiences and ideas

The children had a wonderful time taking part in our VE Day celebrations! 🇬🇧✨
We enjoyed lots of VE Day themed activities including crafts, colouring, music, dancing and learning a little about why we celebrate this special day. The children loved joining in with our VE Day party, waving flags, sharing party food and having fun together with their friends

Today we had Nana Pauline come for a visit from her care home to do some fun activities with the children, The Children & Nana Pauline especially enjoyed the painting.
