The Oaks Secondary School

Good morning to all pupils, parents and carers. We hope your having the most fantastic and restful summer so far. Here are a couple of dates for your diaries.

Thursday August 20th - Year 11 KS4 accreditation / GCSE Results day. Results can be collected in school between 10am-11am. If you are unable to attend on the day you may ring school and speak with Sarah Labron (School Business Manager) who will be able to assist.

Wednesday 25th November, Rewards evening. 4.30pm - 6pm. All year 11 and 14 leavers will be invited to attend a celebration evening for all their hard work, official certificates will be handed out on this evening. As well as this, pupils across all other year groups may be invited to attend if they have been nominated for an award. This has always been an excellent evening which we look forward to.

Your kindness helped make the day extra special for our students, celebrating their hard work, achievements, and positive attitudes throughout the year. The pizzas were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and were a fantastic treat that put smiles on so many faces.

Preview Time - we can't wait for the Summer Fayre on Friday, 9S are selling personalised drawstring bags in a rainbow of colours for £3, as well as hair accessories and a lucky dip!
If anyone want to pre-order a bag for collection on Friday, please let us know name of child to be embroidered, colour of bag and send money in with the pupil this week and our sewing elves will get busy!
