🧸 Looking for the perfect birthday party for younger children?

Our Teddy Bear's Picnic party is a magical celebration that's ideal for little ones – all they need to bring is their favourite teddy, and we'll take care of the rest!

We'll transform your venue into a charming picnic setting with grass mats, flowers and balloons before the children decorate their own picnic food box and enjoy a fun craft activity, choosing to make either a chef's hat or an adorable teddy bear ears headband.

Then it's time for the picnic feast! Children will make:
🧸 A teddy bear-shaped pizza
🧸 Teddy bear and star-shaped sandwiches
🧸 A decorated cupcake with fondant teddy bear toppers
🧸 Fresh fruit skewers

We'll also add bear-shaped crisps and juice before everyone (and their teddies!) enjoys a picnic together on the grass mats. The celebration finishes with a fun game and every child receives a special Cook Stars certificate to take home.

This was our previous full day Summer Camp in Deeping. Just look at how much fun we all had 🥰

Unfortunately, Summer holidays don't last forever 🥲, which means we only have ONE FINAL Summer Workshop left on offer for TOMORROW!

This jam packed Summer Camp will take place at the Deeping Youth Group from 9am until 3pm.

The children (5-12 yrs) will be making a huge picnic feast to enjoy together for lunch, as well as a dish to take home.

All ingredients, equipment, aprons, snacks, drinks, activities and games are included. All they need to do is turn up ready for a day of cooking and fun 😁

People of the Deepings (and surrounding areas)… you asked, we delivered! 🎉

I'm SO excited to finally announce the launch of Cook Stars Academy Market Deeping — our new cooking sessions for 11–17 year olds! 👩‍🍳🔥

Starting SEPTEMBER 2026
📍 Coronation Hall, Market Deeping
🗓️ Tuesdays, 4.15–6pm
📚 Term-time

The Academy is all about taking their cooking up a notch. More challenging recipes, more grown-up dishes, plenty of new skills — and, most importantly, lots of delicious things they'll actually be excited to make (and hopefully share with you! 😋).

Just look at what's on the menu next term…
🍔 Smash burgers
🫓 Cinnamon buns
🍜 Chicken ramen
🥧 Spiced pumpkin pie
…and plenty more sweet and savoury delights!

Whether you've got a keen chef in the making, a home-educated young person looking for something practical and sociable to do, or simply a tween or teen you'd quite like to be capable of feeding themselves one day 😂 — we'd love to have them join us.

And here's the really handy bit for our existing Cook Stars families…

The Academy will run alongside our existing Minis & Juniors sessions on Tuesdays, so you can quite literally bring the whole family along, drop them into their own age-appropriate cooking session, and have everyone cooking at the same time, in the same place. 🙌

We've loved watching our younger Cook Stars grow in confidence over the past few years, and we're so excited to now give our older children their own space to learn, experiment, create and cook some seriously good food. ❤️

One little thing to mention… 👀
Because we want every young person to have plenty of space to work, learn, ask questions and get the support they need, Academy will be limited to just 10 places.

And we already have 3 of those places taken by some of our Junior graduates who are ready for their next Cook Stars adventure! 🥰

So if your 11–17 year old would like to join us, don't leave it too long to grab their place — there are currently just 7 spaces remaining. 👩‍🍳✨

Thursday this week was a full on Cook Stars day!

Our day started with an 8am email containing GCSE results, which were absolutely FABULOUS so we knew it was going to be a smashing day! 😀

Our morning Minis & Juniors SUMMER PICNIC session in Moulton was full to the brim, meaning we made
🍕 84 pizza pinwheels
🌯 14 rainbow wraps
🫓 70 shortbread biscuits
🥒 14 tubs of Greek dip
🥕🫑 168 veggie crudites

We then headed back to Holbeach for an indoor picnic 🌧 and to get ready for our GREEK STREET FOOD Workshop.
The Academy gang spent the afternoon knocking out some amazing Greek inspired shredded chicken, flat breads, tzatziki and a Greek salad to complete our Chicken Gyros all from scratch 🤌🏼

We then celebrated that early morning email with our lush meal, made by my own Academy Cook Star, and of course, a glass of bubbles 🍾 because we are SOOOOO incredibly proud 👏

Between school, homework, clubs, work, dinner, bath time and everything else, finding time to cook together can feel impossible.

🎓 Good luck to all our Cook Stars (or their siblings) getting their exam results today! 👩🍳✨

Whatever those results look like, remember these results do not define your future. If things haven't gone quite as you'd hoped, don't panic - there are so many different paths you can take.

And if you love being in the kitchen, cooking can be a fantastic career path! From chefs and bakers to food development, catering and hospitality, there are so many exciting opportunities to explore. 🍴⭐

Whatever happens today, be proud of how far you've come. Your future is still yours to cook up! 👩🍳❤️
