Finishing off the half term with a bang!
The weather has been working against us but we’ve had plenty of fun inside.
Our chef extraordinaires spent time preparing and enjoying sweet and sour chicken to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Whilst shopping for the ingredients we found some decorations which led to some lovely conversations about why the colour red is important, why the dragon symbol is used on the banners and calculating which animal is the symbol for each of our birth years (they were all highly amused that I was born in the year of the monkey).
On one of the few days that we managed to get out exploring we had a wonderful morning at Little Box messy play. After a big clean up operation when we got home, it’s safe to say we were all wiped out!
Outside may have been miserable but we made the most of every minute. Exploring new books, singing our latest favourite songs, and creating amazing worlds where our imaginations could let loose.
We ended the term baking valentine cupcakes for our favourite people. Safe to say, they were enjoyed by all!
Cannot wait to see all the Little Fawns, plus new faces returning after the half term 🦌😍
