By working in partnership with mainstream schools, our school project aims to raise the achievement and attainment levels of underachieving pupils in a focus, structured and creative environment. We have a team of vibrant and hard working teachers who are passionate about making a different to students across the community. Reflecting on the AI Frontier Summit Career Fair! 🚀

One of the highlights of the AI Frontier Summit was bringing students face-to-face with organisations working across technology, engineering, AI, education, finance and emerging industries.

The Career Fair created a valuable space for students to explore career pathways, ask questions, meet industry professionals and discover opportunities they may not have previously considered.

We were proud to welcome representatives from:
ECG, ALG, Women in Tech, Ashesi University, University of Ghana, Axis Drones, UAV, Yango, PwC, Sambus Geospatial, GradePoint AI.

From energy and engineering to drones, AI, geospatial technology, finance, digital services and higher education, the diversity of organisations demonstrated just how many different pathways exist within the wider technology ecosystem.

For our students, the Career Fair was more than an opportunity to collect information. It was a chance to build confidence, develop professional communication skills, learn about real-world careers and begin making connections with people working in the industries they may one day join.

💡 Digital inclusion is not just about access to technology. It is also about access to opportunities, networks, knowledge and role models.

A huge thank you to every organisation and professional who took the time to support the Career Fair, speak with our students and share their experiences.

And a special thank you to our participants for bringing their curiosity, enthusiasm and questions! 🌟

We hope the conversations and connections made at the Career Fair continue to inspire our young people as they explore their futures in STEM, AI and emerging technology.

Our DigiTech Leadership Forum returns in 2027, building on an exciting year of learning and creativity from our 2026 programme.

Last year, students explored technology, AI, digital innovation and future careers, while gaining opportunities to put their learning into practice.

One of our favourite highlights was seeing students create blogs and presentations based on the topics they explored, which were then shared with their schools and the wider community. 📝

It was fantastic to see students move from learning about technology to creating content and sharing their own ideas.

In 2027, we’ll continue to provide opportunities for students to:

🔹 Explore emerging technologies
🔹 Discover future career pathways
🔹 Develop digital and employability skills
🔹 Build confidence in communicating their ideas

Reflecting on the AI Frontier Summit Workshops! 🚀

Learning about the future of AI is one thing — having the opportunity to develop practical skills and apply new ideas is another.

During the AI Frontier Summit, our participants took part in a series of interactive workshops designed to build the knowledge, confidence and future-ready skills they need to navigate an evolving world of technology.

Our participants explored:
🤖 Ethical AI with Michael Ackon Kofi, where students explored the importance of responsible AI, ethical decision-making and the impact technology can have on people and society.

📄 CV Writing & Interview Skills with the NACTAD Team, helping students understand how to present their skills and experiences effectively and approach future career opportunities with greater confidence.

🎤 Public Speaking & Soft Skills with Daniella Asiedu, where students developed their communication, confidence and ability to express their ideas effectively.

🦾 Robotics – Makers Space with Douglas Ayitey and our Volunteers, giving students the opportunity to explore robotics through hands-on learning, creativity and problem-solving.

Together, these workshops went beyond theory. They gave students opportunities to ask questions, collaborate, experiment, communicate and develop skills they can carry into their education and future careers.

A huge thank you to all our workshop facilitators and volunteers for sharing their expertise, creating engaging learning experiences and helping our participants discover what they can achieve.

We’re proud to create spaces where young people can learn, experiment, build confidence and imagine themselves as the creators of the future. 🌍✨

🌟 Reflecting on our Webinar with Nishika Chettry!🌟

On Tuesday, our community had the opportunity to join an inspiring webinar with Nishika Chettry, who shared her experiences, insights and advice.

The session provided a valuable opportunity for us to learn directly from a firmware engineer and gain a deeper understanding of the skills, experiences and mindset that can help them navigate the firmware engineering industry.

A huge thank you to Nishika for taking the time to connect with our community and for sharing her knowledge, experiences and encouragement with the next generation.

We look forward to continuing to create opportunities that connect people with inspiring professionals, new ideas and pathways into STEM, technology and future careers.
