When I’m not teaching people how to play Smells Like Teen Spirit or out gigging I’m mostly working on our garden. Me and Bowie are really pleased with the new path 😸😂

An amazing but exhausting end of the summer term! Winding down for the summer with 3 school concerts, 2 exam days, exam recordings, gigs and many, many school reports 😂

Superb set of exam results from some of my school and private students with 3 Distinctions and 6 Merits - very proud of them all!
The girls have had equally brilliant terms, excellent school reports from both with Olive getting an award for Respect and Marlow gaining an online associate place with the Royal Ballet School and being chosen as Head Girl next year 🤩

Back to it in September, please get in touch soon for lesson availability as I am pretty much at capacity 😅

Congratulations to Isobel one of my private students who passed her Grade 4 guitar exam just before Christmas 🙌

Isobel’s song choices were,

1) Day Tripper - The Beatles
2) Knights of Cydonia - Muse
3) You Know I’m No Good - Amy Winehouse 😎

Also a massive well done to my other 5 other students from Horndean Technology College and home who took and passed their grade exams before Christmas.

Next Saturday I will be holding my annual charity concert for my private students 🎸
This year we will be raising money for the Paediatric Diabetes fund through Portsmouth Hospital Charity, in memory of our close family friend and former student Joe Cobbold.
If anyone would like to donate before the day, I will add the link to my profile. Many thanks in advance, Mac

Even though I really didn’t like playing this Kings of Leon track at covers gigs in my early twenties. I heard these two mixed together and had to try it haha 😅
