Apprentice opportunity! 🙌 The Old Corn Mill Cafe are looking to take on a Production Chef Level 2 apprentice alongside Compete Apprenticeships at Southport College.

You will work alongside experienced chefs whilst learning all things prepping, cooking, and adhering to high standard of healthy, safety and quality. It's an exciting opportunity to learn and grow at a popular cafe in the heart of Bretherton.

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Anton Analysers for donating a selection of brand new, industry standard equipment to our Plumbing and Gas division! 🙌

In coordination with local, Banks based company Point Safety LTD, we have kindly been given three Anton sprint pro combustion analysers, along with essential tools and associated tech.

Our Level 3 Gas Apprentices will be using these on a daily basis to check the safe operation of gas appliances which is an essential part of their future careers. It has also been great to see our apprentices building relationships with national and local businesses.

Our thanks go to Luke Thomas (HVAV Area Account Manager for Anton) and Ben Horner from Point Safety for their continued partnership and support. Finally, a mention for Gary Marshall, our Principal Gas onsite Assessor, for building the relationships that led to this fantastic outcome. 💙
