Hello! I’m Sophie, a qualified English teacher with years of experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils across the AQA and Edexcel exam boards, helping them prepare for both Literature and Language GCSEs. I have also tutored older students undertaking GCSE resits, as well as KS2 pupils who need a boost in their fundamental language skills and confidence before starting secondary school.

I hold a fully enhanced DBS check and have extensive safeguarding training, ensuring your child’s safety and giving you complete peace of mind.

English has always been my passion. I earned my degree from a leading Russell Group institution, Queen Mary's University of London, where I studied everything from Shakespeare to poetry to 19th-century Gothic literature. My love for learning has made me both knowledgeable and confident in delivering all curriculum-based content, particularly GCSE modules.
