We just wanted to share a charity the Islamic society has done; they’ve teamed with the University of Southampton with Islamic relief for charity week. All your contributions will be sent to children in need, and the money raised will be used to provide shelter, educational facilities and help stop human trafficking of children. Aiming to have a wider and better representation of our audience, we are excited to inform you that the Lebanese Society has now been reaffiliated with SUSU as the Levant Society in hopes of reaching the wider audience of Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Jordan. We have worked very hard on this shift and we are highly looking forward to this upcoming academic year to bring you more unique events that are representative of the Levant region. The Levant society committee, along with the committee of the University of Southampton Middle Eastern & North African Society will be working hand in hand to make your experience worthwhile.
