I mean… it’s far too hot to actually put it all away, so it will probably remain in piles for the foreseeable future, but at least it’s clean 🧼🤍
A warm, supportive space for parents navigating big feelings, busy bodies and everything in between.
Rosy Rays blends movement, nervous system understanding and real life parenting to help children feel calmer, more confident and better understood.

So basically… me vs me if I was as cool as my sisters 🤷🏼♀️ (which I’m not)

Some children struggle in new or unfamiliar situations.
They want to stay close to you, they don’t talk, and they take time to warm up.
Often, this leads to them being labelled as “shy” or people saying things like “oh, have you gone shy?”
But they aren’t shy. They’re checking whether they feel safe in that environment/situation.
My daughter has always been exactly like this, and I’ve never pushed her. I let her stay close, hold my hand, not talk, sit on my lap and observe.
And eventually, she joins in, she talks, and she shows her true personality.
Over time, her confidence has grown so much. She still stays close or goes quiet sometimes, but the time it takes for her to feel safe has become so much shorter.
She knows I’m there, that she’s safe and that if things feel overwhelming, she can always come back to me.
This is exactly the approach I’ll bring into Move to Bloom ☀️
There will never be pressure to join in, perform, or separate before a child feels ready.
Because when children feel safe, everything else begins to follow 🤍
When children feel safe, they explore, they learn, and they build confidence.
They also test boundaries, make mistakes, and take risks, which are all important parts of learning and growing.
And this is exactly what I want Move to Bloom to be ☀️
A calm, safe space where little ones can explore, connect and build confidence, while gently supporting their development and emotional wellbeing.
Movement is so much more than burning energy or just ‘being busy.’ It’s sensory processing, regulation, strength building, coordination, exploring and developing body awareness.
Which is why movement is the core part of Move to Bloom classes ☀️

The sound of your voice is one of the most powerful regulation tools 🤍
In Move to Bloom, we use song, rhythm and repetition to create calm, connection and a sense of safety ☀️

Photos like these are my favourite as I love looking back with so much fondness at times that felt so intense when I was in it. I couldn’t feed the baby without my toddler also wanting to touch me and honestly, it could be pretty overwhelming. But now I look back and just feel so proud!
So if you’re in an intense phase right now, just know…
one day you’ll look back with so much fondness at what a beautiful job you were doing, even on the days when it felt overwhelming ❤️

Young children are just like us…. They just don’t have the same understanding yet 🤍
