Every custom commission begins with a dream. ✨

My lovely client from the USA approached me with a vision for a fairy tale-inspired dress for her 1:4 scale Disney doll. She already had the dream—I simply had the privilege of bringing it to life.

From selecting the perfect fabrics, sourcing every tiny embellishment, creating the custom embroidery, to designing and handcrafting the dress, every step was carefully considered to turn her ideas into reality.

For me, a doll commission is so much more than making a dress. It's about listening to someone's story, understanding their vision, and creating a one-of-a-kind piece that they'll treasure for years to come.

A commission with a story... 🤍

My lovely client from the UK asked me to recreate the iconic white satin dress from Blink Twice in 1:3 scale. She plans to display it in a shadow box as a keepsake of her favourite movie, and I think that's such a beautiful idea.

✨ A little Cinderella throwback! 👗🩵

Recently, a client contacted me to discuss a new Cinderella-inspired doll commission. She would love a touch of Victorian style, but of course with some Cinderella elements mixed in too! 🩵✨

The fun thing is... nowadays when someone says “Cinderella gown”, it can mean so many different styles and interpretations! 😄 So this new commission is definitely going to be a brand-new version of Cinderella, and I'm already having fun thinking about the design.

It also made me look back at one of my previous Cinderella projects, inspired by the Disney movie. 🏰✨ This gown involved a LOT of work and many different stages! I even studied how a full human-size Cinderella gown and its underskirt structure were constructed, then worked out how to recreate the idea in doll scale. 🪡✂️

Here are a few throwback photos from the making process... fabric everywhere, lots of experimenting, and a very patient Barbie waiting for her gown to be finished 😂💙

My lovely client Gala from the USA 🇺🇸 sent me these photos of her doll wearing the 1:3 scale dark Gothic-themed outfit I created for her. I'm so happy to hear that she loves the outfit and the wings! 🖤🪽
The dark Gothic style was such a fun theme to work with, and seeing my creation styled on her beautiful doll is always such a special moment. Thank you so much for sharing these with me, Gala! 🥰

Another commission nearly completed for my lovely client in the USA 🇺🇸✨

She asked for three dresses inspired by classic bridal and prom styles, and here are the first two! 🤍💜

Classic chiffon and delicate lace — such a timeless combination. I really enjoyed working on these two dresses… elegant, romantic and just a little dreamy 🥰

I'm currently working on a very exciting custom project for a client in France. 🇫🇷

Her son is a huge fan of The Witcher, and she hopes this gift will bring him a wonderful surprise.

This commission is a 1:3 scale hooded cloak, featuring a realistic battle-worn, weathered finish to capture the atmosphere of a well-travelled fantasy cloak.

Today I'm sharing a little behind-the-scenes look at the design process—the concept sketch and the fabric I've selected for the project.

These are the kinds of commissions I truly love. Every project is different, and I enjoy the challenge of turning an idea into something unique through creativity and craftsmanship.

My client has already approved the design, and I can't wait to start bringing it to life.
