My go to hobby lace is Milanese and this year I fell in love with Claire Bonito's shoe pattern. Colour choice came from a picture I have of a glass of fizz with a strawberry in the shape of a stiletto... perfect! I set off with this imagine as my colour guide 🥂 🍓 👠 cheers everyone 😍

Lots of fun in the sun 🌞 teaching lace is the best job in the world 😃

What an amazing time we've had in Wi******er at the Lace Guild Summer School. The sun shone, food was good, caught up with lace friends and made new ones too. Had lots of fun finding motifs to work in Rosaline from antique pieces 🐧

During my lace making teaching career I've been fortunate to create a collection of antique Rosaline pieces. These are shared wherever I teach or demonstrate our craft. Last month I was shown a table cloth of Rosaline circa 1890s and in near perfect condition 👌 its 49" x 49" I went weak at the knees and had to sit down for this one. Can't wait to study this one in detail and pull out designs for us to recreate, on a slightly smaller scale of course! 😍

It's National Teachers Day today! Lovely to be with Anna Winter and Carol Lee to celebrate our love of Continental lace, Needlelace and Rosaline Perle together in the sunshine in the Cotswolds 😃

A weekend spent with Hedge End Bobbin Lace Group working with Claire Bonito of Bonitocrafts on our Milanese lace projects. A real treat being a student for the weekend. Looking forward to seeing you again Claire later in the year 😀
