Dear Families,

Thank you for your support with providing lunches for children today. We have received an update from our engineers to say that the school will be without a gas supply for the rest of this week.

We will be able to provide a picnic lunch of a Cheese or Tuna sandwich for those children who qualify for a Free school meal or universal free school meals (Year R - 2). Sadly we will not to be able to offer this to everyone. Could all families of children in Years 3 - 6 who do not qualify for free school meals or do not wish for a school packed lunch, continue to send children to school with a packed lunch for the remainder of this week.

We apologise for the inconvenience and rest assured we are doing all in our power to get this resolved quickly.

We will update further at the end of this week.

Kind regards

Good morning,

Due to an issue with our kitchen, we will be unable to offer a school dinner in school tomorrow and would appreciate it if you could please provide a packed lunch for you child on Wednesday.

If you are in receipt of Free School Meals and unable to supply a lunch please do contact us as soon as possible and we will make alternative arrangements to ensure a lunch is provided.

We thank you in advance for your assistance and support in this matter.

Kind regards.

A massive thank you to all that helped with the spring fair this weekend. Especially to our wonderful Friends of Waterside committee who worked incredibly hard to make this event a success.

What a great time was had by all.

We have had some wonderful feedback from families and the local community.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event and the school. The Friends of Waterside committee will announce the final raised for the school in the next coming days.

Dear Parents/ Carers,

We are pleased to inform you that school will be open tomorrow, as normal for all pupils.

Having had contractors on site all day, we have been informed that the school can reopen to all pupils tomorrow. Whilst there is further work to be undertaken, the school does now have hot water.

We will see Year 6 pupils for breakfast club at 8.00 am.

Planet kids will be operating before school.

See everyone else ready for the school day from 8.40 am, as usual.

Thank you all for your patience and apologies again for the disruption and inconvenience.

Kind regards

Dear Parents/Carers,

Hopefully you would have all received the email sent by Mrs Moakes last evening. Please be advised that due to circumstances beyond our control the school will be closed to the majority of students on Monday due to the hot water boiler failure.

We have managed to put something in place for year 6 to enable them to attend Monday morning to sit their SAT’s. They can arrive from 8.00 am for breakfast club and their first test will be at 9.00 am. Please arrange to collect your year 6 child from the front of the school at 11.30 am.

We will update all our families on Monday.

We understand how inconvenient this is for everyone but have to operate the school safely.

Kind regards
