OFSTED REPORT✅

We are so excited to finally be able to share our Ofsted report!

The inspection recognised our strong safeguarding culture, nurturing environment, and the positive relationships our team builds with every child. Inspectors highlighted our excellent behaviour and routines, inclusive approach, and the way children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. We're especially proud that children were described as happy, settled and safe, with warm partnerships between staff, families and the wider community.

GRADUATION 2026 👩‍🎓

What a beautiful morning celebrating our Class of 2026🎓 A ceremony full of singing, dancing and tears (sorry parents!!) and a wonderful party with all our Little Nest Community to finish off the morning🖤

This bunch of school leavers is a special one, the first group we have seen through their entire preschool journey, most families that viewed our setting as a completely empty shell that placed their trust in our vision and our excellent team.

A HUGE thank you to our families & their little school leavers for an unexpected, generous and completely overwhelming gift. We said we were speechless at the time and we’re still not sure we have found enough words yet to express how grateful we truly are. The Little Nest Community is the BEST🐣

Now for one more month of fun before they head off to big school 🏫

SCHOOL LEAVERS TRIP 2026 🐷 🚌

This week we had our annual school leavers trip to Manor Farm. Our leader Allie, led us around the farm, where we fed the animals, looked for chicken eggs and took part in lots of activities. We finished the day with an ice lolly and play in the indoor park!

We felt extremely proud of our polite, kind and respectful children who behaved incredibly and had the best day!

Now only Graduation to go before we say goodbye to this lovely bunch 🥹👩‍🎓

ENGLAND V NORWAY ⚽️

This week we have been showing our support for the England Football Team participating in the World Cup. We’ve taken part in lots of different themed activities across the week and today, we celebrated their upcoming match by sampling 5 Norwegian and 5 English style foods.

We voted for our preferences and used of mathematical knowledge to determine which was our favourite!!

FATHERS DAY FOOTBALL ⚽️

SUNDAY IS SKYDIVE DAY 🤩🤩

Charity raffle- Open to families and their connections🖤🪹

As part of our fundraising efforts for LimBo UK and to support Megan & Alice’s skydive, we are holding a raffle. Each ticket is £1 and entries can be purchased by donating to our Just Giving page.

This is open to all Little Nest families and their connections! All entries must have a child initials and their key group in the write up in order to qualify, this is so we can successfully match prizes to their winners! Any donations made without this information will not entered. If you have previously donated, we will automatically add these entries to the draw. You will not receive a physical ticket, the draw is being completed electronically.

We will be drawing the raffle on 7th June at the sky dive!

We have a fabulous range of prizes, a small snippet is on the poster below however a full list will be available within the next few days.

As a reminder, all families are welcome to join us at Old Sarum Park, Salisbury to see Megan and Alice doing their sky dive and the drawing of the raffle. Please arrive from 8am, we are not given an exact jump time.

Our second hand uniform table is out this week, all uniform available for a small donation. If any families due to start / already with us would like some affordable uniform☺️

STORIES IN OUR NEST!

A big thank you to Ellie from Lockswood Library who visited us last week to hold a rhyme time session. Our babies and pre-schoolers loved listening to lots of different stories and singing some of our favourite nursery rhymes.
