How can we move away from “I want…” sentences? 👇

✅ Use core boards to open up more sentence options - not just requesting.
✅ Remember communication is more than requesting. It’s commenting, labelling, protesting, expressing and more!
✅ Have simple scripts and phrases ready to model during play.

This is my favourite term, with my favourite topics! Under the sea, seaside, and ice cream shops!

☀️ My vocab in play document can help to support language development.
☀️ It has a range of play scenarios such as water, sand, bubbles, trains, etc.
☀️ The document can take away the stress of finding new language to explore and change up the language focus.
☀️ Each page has core language, fringe language and a mixture of phrases to be modelled and used in play or when exploring sensory items.
