Every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, we learn to think strategically and play chess and checkers!

Last week, our young chess players had mini-tournaments, and they did great!

"Playing chess with a coach is one thing, but managing the game by yourself is another. These kids showed real courage and sportsmanship!"

We are happy to see our girls using smart strategies, and our boys bringing energy and excitement to the game. This is just the beginning of our fun journey into the world of chess and checkers!

Chess Class Last Saturday, the atmosphere at Liberi Laeti was charged with focus, strategy, and bursts of excitement as our young chess learners aged 6 to 9 participated in their very first in-house chess tournament. 🌟 What an interesting science lesson we had last Saturday! 🌟

Our little students (who are already scientists) studied electricity! ⚡️ We learned about conductors and electrical circuits, and all the kids asked good and interesting questions. There were some children who could undoubtedly have taught the lesson themselves because they knew everything about conductors, circuits, and transistors!

The phrase of the day was, “Why is it called an Electricity Circle - it doesn’t look round?” How do you explain to a child that an electrical circuit is not round at all, especially since they understood that everything should go in a circle! The word "circuit" came to the rescue. Isn’t that great? Such questions!

The kids were eager to answer, and we tried to ensure everyone had a chance to contribute. It was truly breathtaking to see how much our children know! They are so smart! The boys and girls studied, experimented, and tried things out with great interest!

But the most exciting part was, of course, the experiments! 🎉 Our children enthusiastically modeled, tested, and launched their working electric models.

It’s so joyful to observe how these little kids try, comprehend, and begin to understand the principles of batteries, electrical circuits, and happily come to their own conclusions, exclaiming "Eureka!" as they make discoveries. 💡

We are confident that this lesson sparked interest and curiosity that will only grow and fuel further exploration of science!

Electricity Science Lesson Sparks of Curiosity: Our Electricity Science Lesson Lights Up Young Minds

Introducing Early Years Sessions at Liberi Laeti – for Children Aged 1–3 👶✨

We’re delighted to announce that our creative an educational centre, Liberi Laeti, is now offering specialised Early Years sessions every Friday, designed for toddlers aged 1–3.

Led by our experienced educators Ira (Mathematics) and Lera (Art), these 2-hour sessions focus on holistic early development through:

🎨 Creative play
📖 Storytime and songs
🧠 Fine motor skills and logic
🔤 Sound and letter exploration
👫 Social interaction in a safe, nurturing environment

These sessions help little ones begin their educational journey in a warm, engaging space – while giving parents two hours of well-earned time to recharge, work, or focus on other priorities.

At this exciting workshop, children will take part in fun experiments and discover:

🧪 How matter changes state — from liquid to gas, solid to liquid, and back again.

🌡 Melting point — introduction to the fascinating metal Gallium! It’s safe, non-toxic, and children will be able to join in the experiment.

❄️ Dry ice experiments — see what happens when warm water and food colouring are added to dry ice.

🫧 Dry ice bubbles — create mysterious smoky bubbles you can touch and pop!
