Calling all Solent University, Southampton Media Production alumni and current students!
This October, BA Media Production at Solent will be exhibiting photography and videos from current students and Alumni at The Photo Fringe. You have until 27th August 2024 to submit up to 6 images or 1 video on the theme Common Ground. If you are selected your work could be seen by up to 30K visitors and there are prizes available.
The work can be brand new or previously submitted for assessments. Interpret the theme how you wish. It could be about human connection, the environment, shared interests, relatable everyday life, abstract representations using light, shape and colour, or other connections to the theme.
Please email the work to [email protected] ensuring that the files are named with the Artist name, Image title, Series title if relevant, year.
Please include your insta handle in the email.
Please put 'Photo Fringe' in the subject line.
Dropbox, Wetransfer and Onedrive links are fine.
Videos should be links to Vimeo or Youtube.
I am also looking for a student to help curate the exhibition so do let me know if you are interested in designing presentation of selected work. This will be at least 16 hours work experience.
