Applemore Pre School

The children have really enjoyed playing Hairdressers in our role play area this week and with the cars,garage and vehicles, due to their interests we will be continuing these two themes next week, if anybody would like to bring in any road maps, photographs of their children on any transport or at the hairdressers or any hair magazines these would all be much appreciated, if anyone has any empty shampoo bottles, old brushes, old straighteners/ hair driers that are no longer used these would be perfect to expand our role play area. We will be doing lots of messy play this week to go with our vehicle theme such as trucks in the mud, diggers in the sand, and painting track marks using cars so we may have some messy children :)

If any of the children have any books about vehicles they would like to bring in to share with us at group time, we would really enjoy reading these together

Hello everyone welcome back to pre school :)
Could all funding forms please be returned latest friday morning if not done so already, as at 1pm Friday they are being sent off, if you havent recieved one and claim funding for your child please pop in tommorow anytime between 9 and 3 or friday morning between 9 and 12 to see me as the deadline is friday Thank you # #

And if anyone could kindly bring in some fruit or breadsticks etc for snack we would be really greatful

Thank you to everyone for making my last few days very special and thank you for all the kind gifts I have received, I am feeling very spoilt. I will truly miss everyone from my last 11years at Applemore pre-school!! -Alison xx

Well, after 7 wonderful years, I finally said goodbye to everyone at Applemore Pre-School today.
It has been an eventful journey and as a team we have been through a lot together and I have been witness to some wonderful changes both within childcare and in the setting.
I was overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and good wishes from the families. Thank you so much.
The children have all drawn some lovely pictures for me that I will treasure for ever.
A huge thank you to 'my team', you are the best and I know I am leaving the setting in safe hands.
I will miss you all.

A reminder that it is half term next week. We will return to pre-school on Monday 31st October.
For those of you that have them, all photo orders are due that week. The order is being collected on Friday 4th November but we would appreciate any orders being received by the Thursday 3rd so that the envelope is ready for collection when they arrive. Thank you
