What if getting it ‘wrong’ was actually the best thing that could happen?

At Big Mouth Theatre, we believe the magic happens when young people are given the freedom to try, create, and have fun without worrying about getting everything right.

This autumn, our Weekend Theatre Programs are back, and our Big Mouths will be bringing 'The Show Must Go… Wrong!' to life together!

Along the way, they’ll have the chance to:
✨ Build confidence
✨ Discover their creativity
✨ Try things they never thought they could
✨ Make new friends
✨ Find a place where they can truly be themselves

And there’s no audition, no competition and no pressure to be the best.

Because theatre should be about more than performing.

It’s about belonging, being brave enough to try, celebrating who you are, and having A LOT of fun along the way!

Sometimes, when a young person is surrounded by the right people and given the freedom to be themselves, something amazing happens…

They start to believe in what they can do!

WELCOME BACK! ✨

We are SO looking forward to welcoming everyone back for our autumn term of confidence-building, connection-fuelled FUN!

After a summer of adventures, we’re ready to get back to what we love most - creating spaces where children can be themselves, build confidence, make connections and have an absolute blast!

🎭 After-school clubs are making their phased return from the week beginning 14th September. Please check your emails or our website for the specific start date for your school.

🎭 Eastleigh Theatre Program returns on 19th September - we can’t wait to see our Big Mouths back in the studio!

🎭 New Forest Branch - we’ll see you there following weekend, 26th September, when the fun returns!

We don’t compete. We connect.

One of our parents recently shared a story with us that really touched us.

When their child first joined our sessions, they were hesitant and unsure. But, slowly, things changed.

They made friends.
They found their voice.
They started cheering for others.

Pretty soon, their parent saw something they hadn’t seen before… Pride.

Not because their child had the most lines or the loudest applause, but because they had discovered who they were!

And that’s what we’re really about.

We celebrate each other’s wins. We make space for different voices. We lift each other up when things feel hard. And we create a place where young people can take risks, make mistakes, laugh loudly, feel deeply and become more of who they are.

Because sometimes, the most important thing a young person takes from theatre isn’t a standing ovation.

It’s the moment they realise:

“I can do this.”
