These popular stories are widely read by children with and without parents and encourage children / readers to visit the website spydog451 .co.uk to find out more about the characters within the book. This site has pornographic content and no age verification means.

The publisher, a subsidiary of Penguin Random House, have stated that the website and the content featured on it has no association with either Puffin or Andrew Cope.

We therefore ask you consider how to remove access, check your monitoring and filtering as the website may appear suitable."

Did you know that some slush ice drinks or ‘slushies’ can be dangerous for young children?

Slush ice drinks may contain glycerol, an ingredient used in place of sugar.
If young children consume large quantities of glycerol it can cause sickness and headaches, hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), shock and loss of consciousness.

We advise that slush ice drinks containing glycerol shouldn’t be consumed by children under 7. Children under 10 should only have one 350ml drink - that’s about the size of a fizzy drink can.

Check with the seller about the drink’s glycerol content – don’t buy if in doubt.

Yesterday we attended the Southampton Physical Activity Alliance meeting. It is a partnership focused on increasing physical activity levels in Southampton. We asked the group to remember to share information on the recommend physical activity levels for under 5's.
Many people are not aware that there is a difference in recommendations for our youngest children, so please do spread the word to increase awareness and that we all understand why physical activity is a prime area of learning.👍

Thank you to Shergolds Nursery for donating our lovely flowers for Mothers Day. Our children loved planting and gifting to their mums. We used the left over flowers in our preschool garden (pictured below). Thank you for supporting us again.
