Our exciting Year 3 Roman Day! We went back in time to explore the fascinating history and culture of ancient Rome, from gladiators to emperors, and everything in between.

We're absolutely thrilled to give a huge shoutout to Tesco for the incredible box of fresh and nutritious Free Fruit and Veg they so generously provided us with!

Year 3 have been handling some Roman artefacts in our History lessons this week. The children have loved holding and talking about the different items, guessing what they cold have been and who could have used them

As part of their Geography learning journey, Year 5 recently embarked on a walk to the River Itchen, where they put their map-reading skills to the test! They studied maps to locate different rivers, identifying key features such as tributaries, sources, and mouths. By doing so, they gained a deeper understanding of the importance of rivers in shaping our landscape and supporting local ecosystems. 🌊🏞️
