Such a brilliant performance by our KS2 school choir on Wednesday at the Chelmsford Cathedral.

The WI said it was a pleasure to listen to them and they sang so well.

The local Reverend said how delighted he was with the quality and enthusiasm of our choir.

We are all very excited to see you all tomorrow and start our new school term. The staff have been working very hard getting the classrooms set up.
During the holidays, we have had the opportunity to update some of the classrooms, with fresh paint and new furniture. I am sure the children will be really excited to see their classrooms.
I thought I would just confirm our timings from tomorrow, they haven't changed, but we wanted to tighten them up to maximise pupils' learning time.
The KS1 and KS2 gates will be open from 8.40 am tomorrow and will be closed at 8.55 am. Registers will be taken at 8.55 am. EYFS and KS1 will finish at 3.15 and KS2 at 3.20 respectively.
'Meet the Teacher' sessions will be starting from next week, to give you an opportunity to visit the class, meet the teacher and ask any questions. Further information will follow soon.

We’ve had a wonderful evening receiving our Sports Partnership Award at the William De Ferrers Sports Presentation Evening. A brilliant achievement for Elmwood. It was also lovely to see so many former pupils receiving awards as well! 👏🏻
