A group of 32 Y6 children were honoured to receive their Gold Mayor's Award at the Town Hall on 8th July 2026 by His Lordship The Mayor and The Lady Mayoress of South Tyneside. Well done to all the children involved.

Our trip has nearly come to an end and we are all so proud of every single year 6 child. They have showed resilience and tackled challenges head on and are now ready to face anything!

Langdale enjoyed some time canoeing on the lake and jumping into the lake before rounding off their brilliant time at Thurston in style with some bouldering and tree climbing - great job everyone!

Yewdale excelled in all of their activities on a jam packed final full day at Thurston starting with a gyhll scramble in Black Beck followed by tree climbing and orienteering - what superstars!

What a fabulous last full day Grizedale have had - huge thanks to Mike our instructor who helped us battle both the wet weather and our fears. Today we visited Catherdral quarry mines, ghyll scrambled up Black Beck and had one final session jumping off the infamous jetty!

Lots of hilarity tonight in the barn! 😆😆😆😆😆
