I’m extremely excited and honoured to announce that I’m officially an Aesthetics Awards 2023 Finalist! I have been a national finalist for 5 or 6 years in a row, last year culminating in ‘Highly Commended’ which was such an honour for which I am truly grateful.
Congratulations and good luck to all the incredible Finalists, most of who I count as good friends and colleagues, I can’t wait to see you all at the ‘Oscars of Medical Aesthetics’ ceremony on 11 March.

What a fab first day for this lovely group of medical professionals!

Day 1 of our Foundation Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler day is purely toxin. We learned about the pharmacology, cautions/contraindication, side effects/complications, facial anatomy, the neuromuscular junction, aesthetic medical history taking, consultation process, reconstituting, marking up, injection techniques 😅

All our students leave well equipped with all the knowledge, a nice long to-do list to get set up in their business with insurance, aesthetic pharmacy set up, set up with online learning platforms Teoxane and Merz, product specialist details for any marketing materials and an open line to contact me at any and every point during their career.

The future of Medical Aesthetics is in safe hands ❤️

In this months i have 2 articles published! Chuffed to bits 😊
The first one is a case study of a patient that I have treated with dermal filler to the midface and perioral areas using a multilayering technique (that I will be speaking about at Aesthetic Medicine conference later this month in Manchester.

The other article is on Optimising Skin Health using the professional peel and home care range from in conjunction with colleagues Dr Beatriz Hernandez and Dr Aimee Vyas.

It’s always a professional privilege to be published in top Medical Aesthetics journals and to pass on knowledge that I hope will be useful to other Medics out there. Thank you for giving us nurses a voice and for being such a great resource for the Medical Aesthetics community 😃

Blown away by the curiosity and professionalism of this wonderful group of Medical Aesthetics Registered Health Care Professionals at our Tear Trough Masterclass today! They made my job easy and fun. Best of luck with your new skills ladies 🙌

We commenced the day (following tea and chocolate biscuits (of course)) with an in-depth lecture on anatomy of the periorbital area, topography, anatomy of the facial layers, vessels, nerves and ligaments. Also, aging anatomy within the area, 4D assessment, complication avoidance and treatment, cannula technique in the tear trough and palpebromal groove 😮‍💨 We also discussed the most appropriate, cutting edge, specific product for the periorbit which is, of course, Teosyal Redensity 2 Teoxane UK Professional

There was then a live patient demonstration and after lunch these superwomen performed a full tear trough and palpebromal groove procedure on their own models with patient guidance.

We had a relaxed but full day of learning, supporting each other and upgrading skills. What a fabulous day 👩‍🎓👀💉🦸‍♀️
