[ICSS Cares]
Hey ICSS! 👋

Over the last 4 weeks, members of ICSS took part in Heartware Network’s Digital Learning Workshop 📱📚 as part of this year’s ICSS Cares initiative. The members mentored and taught 5 seniors important digital skills 👨‍💻 and security information 🛡️, as well as the basic competencies of important applications such as WhatsApp, SingPass and HealthHub.

We thank our members for their participation in ICSS Cares and volunteering to make a difference in our society. We would also like to thank Heartware Network for providing a platform for which our members can give back 🇸🇬🏡

[40th Anniversary Dinner]

On Thursday, ICSS and the Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore (ICAAS) jointly celebrated ICSS's 40th Anniversary. The event celebrated the achievements and longevity of the society as one of the most vibrant Singaporean student communities overseas.

The event was attended by the Guest-of-Honour, SPS for Transport & Sustainability and the Environment Yam Keng Baey, who was also the 10th ICSS President in 1992/93. Many alumni and current students from all years were present at the event, including 14 of the 40 presidents of the society.

We thank Mr Baey and the members of ICSS and ICAAS for availing themselves to celebrate this joyous occasion with us all. The society will continue to be a Home Away from Home for all Singaporeans, past, present and future!

Welcome to SOJOURN 2023: AETERNITAS ⏳🔮📜

A student group, formed by various departments of Imperial College London, were looking to make a breakthrough in the progression of the Aeternitas Project. The Aeternitas Project was meant to harness the very energy stored in the fabric of space and time to solve the greatest problem in the UK, the lack of air-conditioning. However, Big Oil couldn't let the students succeed, so they sabotaged their project and caused it to malfunction on the ex*****on day. What was meant to act as a tiny hiccup, caused massive ripples, tearing a hole in time and space itself. That hole brought forth famous STEM figures throughout history. The four figures were Sir Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, Marie Curie, and Sir Alexander Fleming. As they all came to consciousness, they were briefed by Aeternitas group as to what happened. Due to the machine being destroyed and time running out, only one may return to their timeline. As men and women of Science, they agree in a battle royale-esque challenge to decide the victor to return to their timeline.
