Summer club week two, day three!

We made our own sausage rolls for afternoon snack, coloured a book mark, decorated snap bands and made a lovely crown for our disco.

We finished the day with some fun party games, a game of Mr bears honey and some fabulous dancing with our glow sticks. What a wonderful two weeks we have had.

Summer club week two, day two!

The craft table was busy with fan and pencil case decorating, colouring masks and scratch art whilst the cookery table was busy making muffin pancakes for everybody for snack. The children had them with some fruit and maple syrup which they all loved. This afternoon was spent in the garden digging in the sand, making dens and playing catch.

Summer club week two, day one! (Yesterday).

We made pasta pizza sticks which the children loved. We decorated our own mirrors and had water play outside. Another fun filled week ahead!

Jackie, who previously ran Harting preschool shared this with me.

“The opening of the preschool mud garden”or then known as the sensory garden. Although changes have happened to this space over the last 10 years lots of things still remain such as the original mud kitchen, the sink, the sensory walk through and the stools that still host many tea parties 🙂
It’s a space that is still very much enjoyed by all and where we now have our monthly forest school sessions with Wishanger Wild School -WWS. We are so fortunate to have two wonderful outdoor spaces here ❤️

Summer club week one, day three!

We started off the day with some den building, made the most delicious oat cookies, danced to our favourite songs and made some lovely sand bottle art. The children had a great water fight this afternoon and we all got soaked including the grown ups!

Summer club week one, day two!

Today we made some amazing models using big bricks and mobilo. The children all played a lovely game together and created their own cafe. They have loved each others company, all playing together so nicely. We made name bracelets, Rocky Road and had a great game of dobble, plus water play outside.

Summer club week one, day one!

We are all excited to be back for some summer club fun and we have the added bonus of aircon!

Today we baked sweetcorn and cheese muffins, mixing, grating and measuring. We had those for afternoon snack and they were delicious! This afternoon we went outside for water and sand fun and a game of giant snakes and ladders. The sun hats we decorated this morning came in very handy.

A HUGE thank you to all of our parents for all of the lovely gifts, cards and kind messages you left us at the end of the term. We have been so spoilt with beautiful flowers, chocolate, cakes, candles and much more. We are so lucky to have you all supporting us every single day ❤️
