Hi to our new followers! 👋🏼 I thought I’d share a few things about myself that you might not know…

✨ I was born in a little place called Shoreham by Sea (Brighton) where I lived for the first 4 years of my love before moving to Birmingham, UK.

✨ I went to Uni in Derby to study Marketing with Popular Music Production (I basically wanted to be the female Timberland! 😆)

✨ I’ve been married for nearly 10 years (in May 2023) to my soulmate who I met when I was just 15 years old!

✨ We have 3 children, (5, 3 & 10months old)

✨ I have been a Brand Alignment Coach for 5 years now and love working one to one with female founders!

✨ I actually have an album on Spotify with my sister! We used to go by the name Ela Essence

✨ I founded The Bloom Co nearly 6 years ago to connect with other women in Business!

If we haven’t met or you’re feeling friendly, I’d love to know an interesting fact about you in the comments! 😘

Sometimes our fear can limit the reality of our dreams, because we don’t believe enough in the power we have available to us to bring them to life.

I believe that you have to intentionally be fearless - fearless on purpose. The truth is we will all feel fear, because fear is a natural reaction to the unknown.

The ones who reach their full potential are the ones who are willing to push past those things that make them feel afraid to try.

On the other side of fear is a purpose - a reason and a somebody - the people who need what you have. Your business is your vehicle to bring your gift to the world. We all have something unique to bring to this one life - so let’s live fearlessly, on purpose!

1-week to go till our next Business in Bloom Brunch and Co Working Afternoon on Tuesday 6th December. We’ll be discussing dreaming fearlessly for 2023! ✨ Book via the link in our bio.

Let’s work together 👯‍♀️We’ve launched a Co Working Afternoon for women in business on the first Tuesday of each month. Join us for the next one on 6th December between 1-5pm. Booking is free and also qualifies you for a free hot drink with any purchase of food - not bad ay! 😉

Working from home is great, and since Covid we’ve all seen the increase in flexibility in terms of how we work. However, it’s also nice to work around other people for that extra motivation and in person connection - especially if you’re a self employed business owner.

At The Bloom Co we are all about connecting with purpose. So this is another way we can connect whilst working together.

So bring your laptop and your to do list and let’s tick those tasks off! ✔️

If you’ve like to come but you need help with childcare then we may have a solution for you. We are looking into having a registered childminder to help with the 0-2year olds from 1-3pm. This will also at the venue in the same space so you can have a couple of hours to work, whilst keeping an eye on the little one. Please DM for more info.

As always all our events are bottle/breastfeeding friendly too! 🤱🏽🍼

Have you ever felt like you’re just not doing enough, like you’re not measuring up to what everyone else is doing? That kind of toxic comparison is a real killer! The truth is, we each have incredible potential to be fulfilled, and comparing our journeys with the person or business next to us can be really dangerous. Whilst there are benefits to gaining inspiration from others who are smashing it - we have to be wary of when it becomes a trigger for our own insecurities. When this happens, it’s time to refocus and remember that your path is your path, and there’s people out there that need you to walk that path and not someone else’s. ✌🏽

What’s new? I turned 34 this month, my little boy started nursery and autumn feels like it’s here! 🍂 It seems like a change of seasons is coming for sure.

It’s been a while since I posted on The Bloom Co, so here’s a big hello from me!

👋🏼 The summer has been quite a busy one with having all three kids (under 5 years old) at home with us. Plus September is the craziest month for Birthdays (like 10 people in our friends & family - including me!)

So it kinda feels like I’m just coming up for air now. With my middle child starting nursery, I’ve got some time in the mornings to catch up on life and business. I’m also preparing to get back into my branding & marketing work 💃🏾💃🏾 after being on maternity leave since February!

I’m excited for this next season and am going to take things at the pace that works around my young family.

I would love to know what season to you feel like you’re in or going into at the moment?

Have you ever stopped to write down to verbalise your ‘I believe that…’ statements?

Sometimes it can be a scary thing to be bold with your true beliefs. We worry that some people may disagree with us. But equally, if we aren’t bold enough to put out our core beliefs we could also be missing out on attracting and serving our core customers.

At tomorrows Business in Bloom Brunch we are going to be looking at the core beliefs that drive each of us, and how that impacts our businesses.

These beliefs or values should impact everything we do, from the products or services we create, to how we offer them, and to whom we offer them to and why!

Excited for this conversation! 😆

On the Tuesday of the month, join us for a get-together and discussion over brunch! Meet other women who have recently launched or are preparing to launch a new business venture. Share your story and be inspired by others.

We also welcome Mammas with their babies!

Tuesday 2nd Aug, 10:30am - 12:30pm at Boston Tea Party, Solihull, Herbert Rd, B91 3QE

Booking is essential via: thebloomco.uk/events (link in bio)

There’s something so powerful about hearing another woman’s story, the journey she has been on up until this point, and the reason why she continues on her journey. We all have a story to tell, and when we tell it - we help another woman make sense of her own journey.

I believe our lives have purpose and the struggles and trials we have been through or are going through allow us to create something of value to help others.

What’s your story? How are you using it to fuel your purpose, to energise your ‘why’ and create a business that truly adds value to others.

Discouragement, disappointment and sacrifice are inevitable occurrences within our lives. This is no difference for our work or business venture’s. But how do we know if it’s worth it? How do we keep going even when we feel discouraged?

We have to remember WHY we are doing what we are doing.

If you truly believe that what you are aiming to achieve is worth something - you will push through discouragement, disappointment and sacrifice.

I want to remind myself WHY I started The Bloom Co and why I decided to bring women together to share their stories.

It’s because before I even started my own business I felt so confused and lost about what I should do. I knew I wanted to do something that utilised my branding skills, my passion to see people living out their purpose and creating opportunities for work life balance around family life.

I started The Bloom Co to create a community that I wished was around me when I was at the start of my business journey.

I launched the Business in Bloom Brunch for the women who are out there building their businesses, whilst also raising up the next generation - whether that’s their own children or the next generation of leaders.

I also wanted to inspire other women who may be at the start of their journey of entrepreneurship and may be feeling overwhelmed, discouraged or disappointed. We’ve all been there - you are not alone! I hope that by hearing the real life stories of other women building their businesses, many more women will feel motivated and encouraged to keep pursuing their dreams, keep creating the life they desire for themselves and their families.

You only live once - so make it count! There’s no gain without sacrifice.

If you’re Midlands based - See you on Tuesday 2nd Aug for our next Business in Bloom Brunch, 10:30am - 12:30pm 😘💪

“It’s not who you think you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not” - Hanoch McCarty

Please don’t let self-doubt ruin your chances of becoming or creating something amazing.

This is why it’s important for us women to continually support and encourage each other, because you’ll never know what the other woman is thinking or how close she is to giving up. Your kind words of encouragement could be the difference between someone quitting and someone pushing forward.

The number of businesses owned by women is currently just over 32.7% which is a big jump from 4 years ago🙌

We reckon that this percentage is probably even bigger than this!

✨Give us a wave in the comments if you make up part of this % 👋🏼
