We are absolutely thrilled to report that the Alderbrook community have raised a whopping £6862.43 over the year for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Thank you to students, staff and parents who have contributed to this wonderful charity.

A huge thank you to and from the Alderbrook PE department for a terrific sports day.

Don't forget to bring some small change to school tomorrow as there will be a tuck shop selling drinks and sweets in the quad at breaktime. All proceeds to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Our annual Braids Assemblies are well underway, celebrating student successes in a range of subjects and aspects of school life. Congratulations to all the winners.

Temperatures look set to continue to be high next week - we will continue the relaxed dress code for staff and we are allowing students to continue to wear PE kit.

Free School Meals are changing from September 2026.

As a parent or carer, you may need to re-apply for the 2026/27 school year.— even if your child already receives Free School Meals.

It only takes a few minutes to check, and applying could save your family up to £500 per child each year whilst helping make sure your child has a healthy lunch ready for the new school year.
