Over the last few days I've been lucky enough to take some time away and slow the pace. Watching the waves, taking in the views, breathing deeply and simply being present reminded me how important it is to step away from the busyness of everyday life.

We often feel we need to keep going, but our minds and bodies need time to rest, recharge and reset. Taking a break is an essential part of looking after our wellbeing.

Mindfulness doesn't have to mean sitting in meditation for hours. It can be as simple as:

🌿 Noticing the colours around you
🌊 Listening to the sound of the sea or birdsong
☀️ Feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin
💙 Taking a few slow, deep breaths and appreciating the present moment

When we give ourselves permission to slow down, we return with more energy, greater clarity and a calmer mind.

As I return to work, I'm feeling refreshed, grateful and ready to help others find that same sense of calm and balance. 🌿

Sometimes the best thing we can do for our wellbeing is simply make time to enjoy life.

Today we spent the day at the Festival of Sport as a family, and it was a wonderful reminder that wellness comes in so many different forms. I loved trying breathwork, meditation and martial arts—activities that challenged both mind and body—alongside plenty of laughter, fresh air and quality family time.

Sometimes wellbeing is found in the moments that make us smile. These moments don't just create memories, they help reduce stress, boost mood, build resilience and remind us what really matters.

As the weekend continues, I hope you find a little time to do something that fills your cup, whatever that looks like for you. 💕

A little throwback to last week's Elevate event, where I had the pleasure of speaking about the mind-body connection in pregnancy.

We often focus on the visible physical changes that happen during pregnancy, but there is so much more taking place beneath the surface. Our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, stress levels, and sense of safety all influence how we experience pregnancy and prepare for birth.

One of the key messages from my talk with Jeni Peters was that supporting mental and emotional wellbeing is an essential part of pregnancy care. When women understand the connection between mind and body, they can feel more empowered, confident, and in tune with their changing bodies.

Thank you to Elevate, Future Fit For Business and Future Fit Training for providing a platform to share this important conversation.

✨ Where Movement Meets Stillness ✨

I'm excited to be sharing my signature session, The Quiet Core Method, at the Feel Good Festival with The Soul Angels on Sat 8th August.

This is setting up to be an amazing charity event with a range of wonderful sessions for both mind and body, with all proceeds from the event being donated to mental health causes.

In my session, together we'll explore how to quieten the noise of self-doubt and reconnect with the quieter whispers of confidence and self-belief that so often get drowned out by everyday life.

Through gentle movement, breath, guided meditation and stillness, we'll journey from the body to the mind, creating space to tune in to your own Quiet Core.

Open & Align • Notice • Tune In • Stillness

A chance to pause, reset, and reconnect with the confidence that already exists within you.

I'd love to see you there 💛

I'm excited to be speaking at Elevate this Thursday at 9:55am on the powerful mind-body connection in pregnancy.

When we think about pregnancy, we often focus on the physical changes taking place. But beneath the surface, there is so much more happening. Thoughts, emotions, beliefs, stress levels, confidence, and mindset all play a significant role in shaping the pregnancy experience.

Our bodies and minds are constantly communicating. The way we think and feel can influence everything from our stress response and sleep quality to our sense of wellbeing and preparation for birth. Understanding this connection can help women feel more empowered, supported, and confident throughout their pregnancy journey.

During my talk with Jeni Peters, I'll be exploring how nurturing both mind and body can create a more positive pregnancy experience and why looking after mental and emotional wellbeing is just as important as caring for physical health.

A huge thank you to Elevate, Future Fit Training and Future Fit For Business for creating opportunities to have these important conversations and to share knowledge that supports health, wellbeing, and personal growth.

If you're attending Elevate, I'd love to see you there.

Last night, I had the privilege of singing with Rock Choir in support of Sport Relief and Jill Scotts incredible cycle and marathon covering 388 miles. 💕

As a hypnotherapist, I'm passionate about helping people improve their wellbeing and it's important to remember that wellbeing can be found in the things that bring us joy, connection, and purpose.

There's something special about coming together as a community, each person bringing their own voice, and working towards something meaningful. Whether it's supporting a charitable cause, learning a new song, or simply sharing an experience, being part of something bigger than ourselves can have a powerful impact on our mental and emotional wellbeing.

Singing itself has so many benefits. It encourages deeper breathing, helps release tension, lifts mood, and creates a wonderful sense of connection with those around us. It's difficult to leave a choir rehearsal or performance without feeling more energised.

Last night was a lovely reminder that looking after ourselves isn't always about doing more, sometimes it's about making time for the activities, people, and causes that help us feel connected and inspired. 🫶

So, why not take up a new activity, a new hobby or even a new challenge ....go for it, you'll feel amazing. 💕
