Walk joyously among the difficulties of this passing life. These pains will have an end when our life ends. After which there will be only joy, only contentment, only eternal consolation. Unceasingly proclaim His teachings. Like Andrew, the valiant martyr, heed the call. Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Become His instrument and an active medium.
Let this be the beautiful practical resolution you can do. In your brokenness, receive in His word, consolation in your struggles and encounter a smile of hope in your helplessness. In His love, receive too His message of hope, and His treasury of providence. Even when immersed into the murky waters of sin, His ocean of mercy, His fountain of justice and His abundance of warmth awaits. Find His dimension of wholeness in relations and His instruction of being faithful, life giving. Andrew heard the call of the Lord. Like him, be touched by love and be filled with a passion for the Master. Be zealous to bring hearts to the love of Jesus. Be even willing, to lay down your life, in imitation of the Master, for love of Him. May St Andrew intercede for you and inspire you, by his tremendous love.

Create a pure heart in me, O God,
and put a new and loyal spirit in me.
Do not banish me from your presence;
do not take your holy spirit away from me.
Give me again the joy that comes from your salvation,
and make me willing to obey you.
Then I will teach sinners your commands,
and they will turn back to you.

I am a Catholic priest, I am your brother, I am your friend, with human blood, human instincts and human frailty. I grew up in the poor neighbourhood. I went to school together with the other kids and you know my parents and my siblings. I was a normal kid, remember?

Now you call me "Reverend Father". When you are in difficulties you run to me and I listen to you. I try to understand you patiently. I even help whenever I can. I come to console you when you mourn and to cheer you when you celebrate. When you sin you run to me, and I in "persona Christi"-God forgives your sins through the sinful me.

I help you with family, emotional, spiritual, marital and career issues. I pray for you, journey with you and give a hand to raise you when you fall (just to name these few).

But when I make mistakes you seem to forget these. You condemn, insult, gossip and even do lie about me. You say all sorts of things about me even when its not the truth. You neither listen nor offer to help me as a priest serving God and humanity. You do not even try to understand nor try to journey through my stories of tick shadows.

You forget all the sacrifices I do made for your sake and many souls out there. You show me no patience, love, compassion and you even do not pray for me. You refuse to forgive my short comings and you celebrate and laugh when I seem down; making it a public show. In your mind you are shaming me.

Do you even think about my own burdens, temptations, loneliness and pains? Have you forgotten I am human too? Do you ever think of my own difficulties and needs? What do you do to help me when am down? Why do you shame me when I seem fallen rather than help lift me to more righteousness and holiness? Why does no one even bother to consider my feelings and bear with my frailty? Why do you forget that I too am not an angel but a fragile human just as u are?

: Feel free to . And do pls like our page at Facebook-Catholic Treasurers. God bless!!!

_Separated From Christ (John 15: 1-8)_ :
*1. Forgetfulness of God* : Lord, it is so easy to forget You when life gets busy. It is easy to forget You when things go well. Almost without realizing it, I begin to separate myself from the Vine. My prayer time is a good thermometer: When I am separating myself from the vine, it becomes shorter and shorter until it almost fades. I go my own way. I forget to pray. However, it isn’t necessarily a question of eliminating activities but of doing all of these tasks for God and in union with Him.

*2. Barrenness* : If I separate myself from Christ, the Vine, and invest my energies in something else, I know what is going to happen. I will produce no fruit. This is my experience; it has already happened. Eventually, I will wither and be thrown out like a dry branch. Lastly, these withered, old, dried-up branches will be gathered and thrown into a fire, and they will be burned. There is no way I can bear fruit if I am separated from the Vine.

*3. Abundant Fruit* : I want to produce abundant fruit. I want to help bring about a change in this world. That is attractive to me. That means a lot to me. I have tried different ways, and I know that only united to the Vine can I bear lasting fruits for Christ’s Kingdom. This is the way I will glorify the Father. In this meditation, I already sense the sap running back into my soul. My life will produce fruit for others. Lord, help me to cling to the vine. Help me to strengthen that bond of unity. Help my faith and love for You to grow, for You are my all.

🙇‍♀🙇🏿‍♂ *Conversation with Christ* : Lord, it is easy to trust what I can see, feel, and touch. It is wiser, infinitely wiser to trust You, even if You are hidden from me for now.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 *Resolution* : At least three times today, I will lift my thoughts to offer one of my activities to God. Shalom! St. Rita of Cascia, pray for us!
