We’ve been getting messy, exploring, scooping, rolling, pouring, and discovering so many new things through sensory play! 🌈 From colours and shapes to textures, sizes, and weight, our little ones have been learning through play while building their fine motor skills along the way.

There’s nothing better than learning in the moment while having lots of fun! 🐝✨

A cosy teepee where children can enjoy a safe, calm space to express their feelings and emotions, share story time, or simply have a moment of peace and relaxation. 🌿📚

Swipe through to see the attention to detail that went into creating this magical little space, featuring warm forestry greens and wooden textures to promote calmness, comfort, and wellbeing. 🤎

Our older children had lots of fun exploring with loose part material in our junk modelling area, starting from a small structure to building large spaceships and castles! The children enjoyed exploring with glue, paints, tapes sisscors any many more resources. The children had fun discussing and deciding between themselves which structure to build and which colours to use! 🚀📦🎨🖌️

Our elephant has now set off on his wonderful journey… 🤍🐘

He has been surrounded by so much love from our little explorers, families, and staff, all coming together to decorate and support Thames Hospice through this beautiful elephant project.

This isn’t goodbye forever, our precious elephant has joined his fellow elephant friends and will soon be out and about in our community for everyone to enjoy!

The children had a wonderful time exploring nature with our Blue Willow gardener 🌿🌼

They enjoyed planting wildflower seeds, stamping them into the soil, and discovering different textures and smells along the way. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity and sensory exploration.

What an amazing fundraising bake sale we had today! 🎉🧁

With the incredible support of our staff, families, and wider community, we raised over £300 for the hospice 🤍

We also had the pleasure of welcoming a senior member of the hospice team, who spoke to our families and community about the truly amazing work they do with patients and the real impact donations make. It was so inspiring to hear firsthand how every contribution helps ✨

Thank you to everyone who baked, donated, and came along to support – we couldn’t have done it without you!
