Mini Olympics 2026! π
Yesterday Digger Bees and Carpenter Bees attended Mini Olympics organised by Inspire+
Despite a change in plans due to the weather, everyone had a great experience watching a football freestyler, professional dancers from the Royal School of Ballet, meeting ex-professional athletes, playing squash, bowls and taking part in athletics!
A huge thank you to our wonderful Year 6 pupils who designed and created the flag for our schoolβs country π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ

No pens day 2026! βοΈπ
This year the whole school took part in no pens day, to raise awareness for speech and communication needs on behalf of Speech Language UK.
We started the day with an assembly learning about different ways to communicate, including some makaton signs. Our children have taken part in a range of activities today including Forest School, debating and spelling using different media.

This week, children in Digger Bees have been exploring the fascinating process of making wattle and daub, a traditional building method used in Anglo-Saxon settlements. Theyβve loved getting hands-on and discovering how homes were constructed in the past!
