Who knew duckling bath time could be so entertaining. Both Acorns and Catkins children have thoroughly enjoyed watching the ducklings have a swim this afternoon. I love how caring the children are being with our ducklings.

This half term we are thinking about people who help us and we are also learning about how we can help others. Looking after the ducklings is showing us how to care for, look after and be responsible for something more vulnerable than ourselves.

The reception children were amazing when it came to keeping the ducklings calm and warm whilst they were dried off after their swim.

We are so excited to announce that acorns class have Easter ducklings (5 in total). How cute is this little one? (matching outfits unintentional 🤣)

This little one hatched out of our one green egg. We won't know the gender for a few months yet so we are looking for a gender neutral name. If your child would like to suggest a name for our new duckling please comment below. We will then put out a vote of our favourites to name this little one.

A week ago today the Acorns class were delighted to welcome mums and grandma's into the classroom to celebrate them and everything they do for us. We had such a fun coffee and play session, making beautiful vases and tissue paper flowers.

I’m really looking forward to bringing the Usborne Book Fair to Threshfield Primary School on Tuesday 2nd December and Thursday 4th December.

As this will be my first visit, I’m excited to meet everyone and share a wonderful selection of books with your pupils and families.

The school will also earn free books based on the total sales.

You can buy the books on the day and take them home. You can also buy through a virtual link - which the school will email out.
