The solar eclipse takes place next week, Skem will see 91.7% coverage. This great simulator appeared on my socials so thought I’d share it.

Please don’t forget to wear special glasses (really cheap and readily available) when looking at the eclipse.
Many years ago we had an eclipse in school time and we made pin hole cameras to ‘view’ it. (I will find one a post a link in comments if some of you fancy a bit of crafting)

This is the best partial eclipse for a number of years with the next total eclipse not until 2090! So fingers crossed for clear skies.

Remember to wear special glasses!

Year 4 visited the Heladería to order their ice creams in Spanish. They could choose chocolate, fresa or vanilla in a cono or a tarrina with salsa!
