Sometimes a parent says it better than we ever could! ❤️

“Little Voices is amazing, my daughter has only been there a few months but her confidence has grown so much! After a tough time at school she really needed to find ‘her people’ and Little Voices are just that. Every week she comes home beaming.”

If this sounds like something your child would enjoy, ask us about a free trial so they can come and try Little Voices for themself.

Being with other people takes practice.

That might sound like a bit of a strange thing to say, but think about it for a minute.

We learn how to talk to people by talking to them. How to listen, take turns, read a reaction, cope when someone has a different idea, work things out together, have a laugh, make friends. We can only learn all these things by doing them.

And they matter because, as human beings, we thrive on connection, and however clever technology becomes, that need for real human connection isn’t going anywhere.

For children, those face-to-face experiences REALLY matter. Being in a room with others, singing and acting together, having conversations, getting things wrong, trying again, sharing the experience with the people around them.

And at Little Voices, that happens every week. ❤️

If you’d like your child to come and experience Little Voices for themselves, ask us about a free trial.

🎉 Congratulations to Jackie Harrison, our franchisee in North Hampshire, who’s through to the FINALS of the What's On 4 Kids National Children's Activities Awards 2026 in the category of Most Loved Music, Dance or Performing Arts Activity!

This award was voted for by parents, carers, families, teachers and Little Voices friends everywhere, which makes getting through to the final feel particularly special.

These are the people who see what Jackie and her team do week in, week out. The people whose children come through the doors, who see the difference her lessons make and who chose to take the time to vote.

Jackie has built something that clearly means a great deal to the families she works with, and we couldn’t be happier to see that recognised nationally. ❤️

Huge congratulations, Jackie, we’ll be cheering you on all the way! 🥳

WE'RE FINALISTS – and we couldn't be more excited!🎉❤️

Because Little Voices has been named a finalist in the Children's Services category of the 2026 Best Franchise Awards!

What makes this so special is that we've reached the finals based on anonymous feedback from the people who know Little Voices best – our own franchisees.

Our whole Head Office team puts an enormous amount of hard work, care and commitment into supporting our franchisees, so to know that they feel so positively about being part of Little Voices, and to see that reflected in this recognition, means the world to us.

We're incredibly proud of the network we've built together, and absolutely over the moon to be 1 of just 4 finalists in our category!

Next up is the presentation and Q&A with the judging panel. Wish us luck! 🤞❤️

“Why do you do singing one week and drama the next?”

It’s a question we get asked quite a lot, and the simple answer is that the two work brilliantly together!

One week your child might be working on a song, thinking about their voice, breathing, rhythm and how they communicate through music.

The next, they’re using many of those same skills, but in a completely different way: creating characters, working with scripts, improvising and performing with others.

And because they’re alternating between the two, there’s always something different happening in lessons.

Some children arrive absolutely loving the singing, others can’t wait for drama week.

Then sometimes you’ll find that the bit they weren’t so sure about at the beginning ends up becoming the bit they love the most! ❤️

Yesterday was World Mental Health Day, and it got us thinking about something we talk about quite a lot at Little Voices: Circle Time.

There’s a reason we keep coming back to it.

It might only take up 5 minutes at the beginning of a lesson, but it’s a really IMPORTANT 5 minutes.

It’s a chance for children to stop for a few minutes and talk about their week, share something that's happened, listen to everyone else, or simply sit and be part of the conversation.

Some weeks they’ll have lots to say, other weeks, perhaps not so much – and that's okay.

Then the rest of the lesson begins. They sing, act, laugh, concentrate on something completely different and spend time with people they enjoy being around. 😊

❤️ Sometimes feeling heard is what they need. And sometimes, it’s as simple as having some time where they know they can just enjoy being themselves.

If you’re a teacher, you’ve a LOT of transferable skills – and we’re not just talking about the obvious ones.

Yes, you know how to work with children. But you also know how to plan, organise, communicate with parents, build relationships, juggle about 47 things at once and somehow STILL keep everything moving.

You probably just don’t think of those things as ‘business skills’, but we do.

And it’s one of the reasons teachers and former teachers can be such a good fit for a Little Voices franchise – because you’ve already spent years building skills that could be incredibly useful in running a business of your own!

A Little Voices franchise offers the chance to use those skills in a completely different way, while still working in a world you know well.

If that’s got you thinking, you can download our franchise prospectus to find out a bit more – just head to our website.

“But they don’t want to be an actor…”

They don’t have to!

Lots of our pupils work towards LAMDA qualifications as part of their Little Voices lessons, but that doesn’t mean they’re planning a future on the stage.

For some, it’s about having something to work towards. For others, it’s the sense of achievement that comes from doing something that once felt a bit daunting.

And as they move through the grades, they’re gaining recognised qualifications along the way too, with the higher grades even carrying UCAS points that can help with university applications.

They might go on to study performing arts. They might become a teacher, an engineer, a vet – or something none of us has thought of yet.

And we love that we have absolutely no idea where those skills might take them! ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about Little Voices, come and give it a try.

Let's talk about how we remember what on earth we're supposed to do when we're performing!

It can be so hard to remember a long sequence of events, it's one of the most challenging aspects of performing and our confidence can take a nose dive if we make mistakes in front of an audience.

So what is the most effective way to ensure you know what you're doing? It's just practice.

We spent some time in our lessons yesterday following sequences of instructions without any reminders. For our marvellous minis, that meant three or four instructions, then our seniors had a big long list to remember. We all took turns giving suggestions, why not try some out with your little person? Here's an example:

1. Find three blue things in the room and give them a high five.
2. Skip in a large diamond shape.
3. Waddle like a penguin towards the sun.

We had so much fun with these sequences yesterday 🌟 🤩
