Christ Church Playgroup Sidcup

This term the children are learning about the life cycle of plants and animals.

Last week each child got to take home a runner bean to care for and watch grow. They also painted some wonderful plant pictures.

A vet’s practice was set up in the home corner for the children to play with. They all loved being the vet and caring for the animal.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all back on the 9th September after the summer break.

We return to playgroup tomorrow after the Christmas break. Looking forward to seeing you all and hearing about what you did in the holiday.

The Nativity performance will be taking place on Monday 18th December.

All children are welcome to take part even if they dont attend on a monday.

Please let Tracey know if your child WONT be taking part, so roles can be given accordingly.

Come along and see our stall at the Christ Church Christmas Fair this coming Saturday. An event for the whole family.

Entry fee 50p.

Thank you everyone who supported us and came to our Autumn Bazaar last Friday.

We raised a fabulous amount of £312 which is going towards the children’s Christmas party that will be held at the end of the year. A big thank you also to the stall holders, the volunteers and of course the playgroup staff for organising this event.

It’s our Autumn Bizzar this morning where we are raising money for the children’s Christmas party. Please do come along and support us!

As we continue with our term topic - this week we will be learning about self care, dentist, toileting and healthy eating.
