Help Our School Get More Funding!

This Thursday (1st October), schools across the country will take part in the annual School Census Day. For every FSM-eligible child that claims their free school meal on Census Day, our school gets £505 of extra funding!

We would like to encourage all families with children entitled to Free School Meals, to enjoy their free meal on Thursday 1st October.

The number of school meals ordered on this day has a significant impact on the amount of Government funding we receive, so this is a perfect opportunity to try our school canteen if you haven't done so before!

WOW! What a turnout!

Last night, we welcomed over 1200 visitors to our Year 7 Open Evening! We hope you all had a fantastic evening, and got a good glimpse of what makes Hurstmere so special. We hope to welcome you and your son to our school next September.

If you'd like to see the school in action, we are holding Open Morning tours next week (28th September-2nd October). Our tours are a perfect opportunity to see the school during the school day, and get a real insight into life at Hurstmere School, and the education we provide.

Tours commence promptly at 9am and finish at 10.30am. Booking is essential.

We can't wait to welcome everyone to Hurstmere for tomorrow's Open Evening! But did you know that we are also holding Open Morning Tours next week?

Our Open Morning tours are a perfect opportunity to see the school in action, and get an idea of what day-to-day life is like at Hurstmere.

Tours are available every day next week, from Monday 28th September - Friday 2nd October, and will commence promptly at 9am each day.
