Back to school is just around the corner...

Before the new term starts, take 2–3 minutes to check if your child is eligible for Free School Meals. You will need to supply your National Insurance number as part of your checks.

Recent changes to the eligibility criteria mean more children may now qualify.
If your child is eligible, they could receive:
• A free school meal every day
• A free breakfast
• Saving you around £500 a year on school meals

Every successful application also brings an extra £505.40 to our school, helping us invest in further opportunities and support for all pupils.

Please note: if you have already applied for Free School Meals for next year, there is no need to reapply.

🎓 GCSE Results Day 2026! 🎓

A fantastic morning at Hurstmere as our Year 11 students collected their GCSE results and celebrated the culmination of five years of hard work.

We are incredibly proud of what our boys have achieved and delighted to see the school’s results continue to improve. 👏

Even if your child has received Free School Meals before, you should still complete a new eligibility check.

If your child is eligible, they could receive:
• A free school meal every day
• A free breakfast
• Giving you savings of around £500 a year on school meals

Plus, every successful application provides an additional £505.40 in funding for our school, helping us to support pupils with resources, enrichment opportunities and learning.
