As it's is Chinese New Year today the children enjoyed making a tiger 🐯

They mixed red and yellow paint to make orange and once it dried, exercised their fingers while sticking on the stripes, eyes, nose and ears.

We had a fantastic morning at The Wildside attending their Wednesday drop-in session!

The children enjoyed splashing, climbing, sliding, rolling, inspecting natural treasures with a magnifying glass and toasting marshmallows on the campfire 🔥

We're excited to come to these sessions more often for more play!

Lovely morning having a walk around Killingworth Lake. The children enjoyed being outdoors and feeling the texture of trees. They also found a "pebble path" which they enjoyed stomping along to hear what sound they were making underfoot.

We also practiced walking safely together along the path of a road when we collected another little one from pre-school.

We had an amazing day at the farm today! We learnt lots about which animals live at the farm, what they eat and where they originally came from.

Of course they stopped in all the play areas along the way and we also enjoyed a tractor ride which took us off to see the cows 🚜

They also brushed and petted a very friendly bunny 🐰

Brilliant day 😊
