Kaz has settled into our Pineapples Room brilliantly, and in just a couple of months she’s become such a valued part of the Happy Trails family. Her can-do attitude is infectious, and the team can’t stop singing her praises!

Lettuce tell you about our Sunday morning…🥬

Yesterday’s Father’s Day Allotment Morning with Outdoor Mandy was the perfect way to start a Sunday morming.

There was something really special about seeing Dads, Grandads and Families enjoying a wander through the allotments, getting hands-on and discovering everything our children have been busy growing, planting and caring for over recent weeks.

Our allotments are full of stories, learning and adventure, and we are certain there were plenty of excited conversations on the journey home as children proudly shared everything they’ve been up to.

Creating opportunities like this is all part of our vision to be more than just a nursery. We strive to be a genuine home away from home—a place where children, parents, grandparents and our team build lasting memories together.

Reintroduction to our wonderful Deputy Manager, Yvonne! The OG is back.✨🎬

We are so happy to have Yvonne back from maternity leave after welcoming her lovely little one, who is now enjoying lots of adventures with our Blueberries. 🫐👶💙

Yvonne has been greatly missed by all of the team, children, and families, and it’s been lovely to see her settling back in and sharing her warmth, care, and expertise once again. 🌟

We’re also excited to celebrate International Day of Play on Thursday 11th June! 🎉

Throughout the day, the children will enjoy sensory play, creative activities, physical challenges, music and movement, imaginative games, and plenty of opportunities to laugh, explore, and make special memories with their friends. 🌈🎨🎶

We can’t wait to celebrate the power of play and share these magical moments with you all! ✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprise, Surprise… They Turned Up Again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well… we do love a surprise here at HTP, but perhaps not quite as much as an unexpected knock on the door from the Environmental Health Officer! 😅

Today, Happy Trails Play received another unannounced, on-the-spot food hygiene inspection - looking at our kitchens, food preparation procedures, labelling, hygiene standards, food safety systems and day-to-day practices all placed under the microscope🔍

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Happy Trails Play has once again retained its 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In fact, this is now the third time we have successfully achieved and retained the highest possible rating.

The inspector was particularly interested to hear about our ethos - how we introduce superfoods to our children - giving them first-hand experiences and through education with our curriculum.

A huge thank you goes to every member of our team, who were all very professional, welcoming and confident during the inspection.

Maintaining exceptional standards is very much a team effort, and every colleague plays an important role!
