🏊‍♀️ Half-Term Swimming at Leweston! 💦

With half term just around the corner, please take a look at our poster for details of our family swims and lane swimming sessions next week.

We have also added a special session for under 5s, accompanied by a parent, so little ones can enjoy some splashing fun in the pool!

Into the Enchanted Wood 🌳🍂

Whatever the weather, our Pre-School children head to Forest School every week. Our own four-acre woodland, “The Enchanted Wood”, has a fire circle and parachute shelter, and it’s the perfect spot for story time, shared adventures and a bit of puddle-splashing.

Led by our Forest School leader, the children explore a real woodland in every season. They work together, solve problems and take manageable risks in a safe, well-supervised setting. Along the way they build resilience, independence and a lifelong connection with nature.

We follow the Scandinavian Forest School ethos, so we go outside in all weathers. Waterproofs, wellies and warm coats are part of every child’s kit. Rain means puddles, and cold days mean hats, scarves and gloves!
Moments like this one, two friends side by side listening to a story in the woods, are what Forest School is all about. 💛

Our little ones have been busy discovering the wonders of our sensory room! ✨💚

Through light, colour and hands-on exploration, our children are encouraged to investigate, experiment and engage their senses in a fun and stimulating environment. From glowing lights to fascinating reflections, there’s always something new to discover!

This week, the children brought along their favourite teddies for a teddy bear’s picnic, and it was full of happy faces, picnic fun and very well-loved bears! 🐻

Aquatots Playgroup starts tomorrow! 💦

We are excited to welcome you back for our first Aquatots Playgroup session tomorrow, 9.45am – 10.30am!

Perfect for little ones aged 3 months to 4 years, Aquatots is a fun and relaxed way to help your child discover the joy of swimming through playful activities, while building confidence and becoming more comfortable in the water. 🐠💙
